November 1st 2000- Paul Pierce, playing with Antonie Walker at the time, went off for 28 points in the Celtics season-opening win over the Detroit Pistons 103-83.
Pierce, playing his first regular season game since an off-season stabbing on September 25th 2000 scored 20 of those 28 in the 1st half.
"The Truth" made a great comeback that night and has since won a championship.
