Well according to the New York Daily News:
The Knicks are going to check into the availability of Suns point guard Steve Nash even though trade rumors involving the two-time MVP are believed to be speculation.Remember we reported: today...Steve Nash will announce his retirement...to go into politics.
The Knicks "will make an inquiry," a team source told The New York Daily News.

Remember last year, Steve Nash mentioned he would definitely play for D'Antoni. So this could be the most clever way to get out of a contract EVER!
