Kobe Continues Climb On All-Time Scoring List

Last week Kobe Bryant passed the "Big O" for 9th and the next spot is Hakeem Olajuwon at #8. After chippin in 13 points in a Lakers record-setting mass destruction of the Cavs in a 112-57 win- the 57 points by Cleveland were the fewest points allowed by the Lakers in their history- Kobe now has 26,760 career points in 1,510 games in 15 seasons.

Here is the current Top 10...

1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 2. Karl Malone, 3. Michael Jordan, 4. Wilt Chamberlain, 5. Shaquille O'Neal, 6. Moses Malone, 7. Elvin Hayes, 8. Hakeem Olajuwon, 9. Kobe Bryant, 10. Oscar Robertson.

How high Kobe can climb this season, could he get as high as 6th; he's only 649 points behind Moses Malone. At age 32 (with mileage) talk swirls about is he beginning to slow or how much does he have left in the tank. Kobe Bryant is a basketball player, a very smart one. He'll continue to define his legacy by continuing to be effective as he gets older however long he decides to play. Taking all that into account will Kobe attain the #1 spot before his career is complete?
