Phil Jackson, speaking about the loss of Caron Butler of the Mavericks for the season, was quoted in the LA Times saying "He leaves a vaccum that's going to be very hard for them to fill". Well well when Mark Cuban was asked about it while getting his workout on in the Mavs' facility he had a little bit more to say and it wasn't about the Lakers on-court play but rather the realtinship of Jackson and Jeanie Buss...
"I love that Jeanie Buss' boy-toy had something to say about us, I don't know if it was his thought or Jeanie's thought, but it's nice to know that she lets him speak in public about other teams."
Jackson, 65 responded...
"I love it," Jackson said. "I consider myself an old man, to hear that I'm a boy-toy? That's terrific."
This is why we love Mark Cuban and this is why we love Phil Jackson. They'll both spice it up a little bit and have a good war of words that will give you a good chuckle when you need it most! No comment from Jeanie yet.
