Photo: Squatch is Back...huh

This is just a fun one. Often times at NBA games, there are celebrity sitings. Nothing new here. But last Thursday there was one special siting. So we wrote a story about it.

Once upon a time, there was a NBA team...yes kids, a real, NBA team in the town of Seattle Washington.

And this team wasn't an urban legend.

They even had a mascot.

His name was Squatch.

Then the team wasn't able to get a new arena and had to be banished to Oklahoma City.

To hide their identity, the team changed their name to the Thunder.

But on an erie Thursday evening Squatch...yes, from the old Seattle SuperSonics showed up at the Thunder/Blazers game.

And the mystery remains...he's looking for a new home.
