Jeremy Lin was the center of most of the media attention as All-Star weekend kicked off on Friday night with the Rising Stars Challenge, in which Lin logged only nine minutes and scored two points. Meanwhile, over 1,000 miles away, Lin was making headlines for a vastly different reason.
Ben & Jerry's took some heat over the weekend for selling a "Taste the Lin-sanity" frozen yogurt flavor at its Harvard Square store in Boston, Mass. The flavor originally consisted of lychee honey swirls and crumbled fortune cookies. After being met with criticism, the company quickly substituted a waffle cookie for the fortune cookies.

"There seemed to be a bit of an initial backlash about it," Ryan Midden, Ben & Jerry's general manager for Boston and Cambridge, told Boston.com, "but we obviously weren't looking to offend anybody and the majority of the feedback about it has been positive."
According to Midden, the main reason for changing the cookie was that "a couple of containers got returned because the cookies got so soggy."
I'm more of an ice cream guy myself, but I may have to give this flavor a try.
