Although it feels like the NBA season just started, mostly because it has, voting for the 2012 All-Star game in Orlando has already begun. The NBA and Sprint held a special event this afternoon in Orlando and officially announced the start of the voting process. The game will take place on February 26, 2012. I don't know about you guys, but this whole shortened season just seems to be rushing everything. I know that the All-Star game is a couple weeks later then what the usual one is, but teams are only 6, 7 at most, games into the season!

This seems ridiculous to me. How can you start voting so early in the season? I understand the season is shorter but voting this early doesn't allow players to have enough times to prove themselves.
