Barkley: Agent Money Isn't College Money

Plenty of NBA players have landed their former colleges in trouble with the NCAA for their dealings with agents. Ole Chuck just told the truth...

"I got money from agents when I was in college. "Most of the players I know borrow money from agents."

"Let me tell you something, these agents are well known, and they've been giving kids money for 30 years, and I have no problem with it. Borrowing money from an agent ain't the same as a college paying you."

Well until the NCAA finds a way to pay the student-athlete with more than the paperwork, it's still going to happen. Hence the "One and Done" players in college. I guess that's why I like the D-League and overseas ball. Gives you the choice to skip the NCAA altogether if you want.
