Business Update: LeBron James And Sheets Energy Strips

Lebron James is continuing in his business ventures by getting involved in the energy industry.

Behind a $10M marketing campaign, the energy product know as Sheets Energy Strips will be hitting the market within the next month. $10M, now that is an investment.

With all the energy products out there what will make this product different you may ask. Well if your not a coffee drinker but want the caffiene effect with a vitamin boost then this may be the energy product for you. The content of caffeine is suppose to be comparable to that of one cup of coffee. Hey it's a 2 for 1 deal and you don't have to have worry coffee breath or staining those pearly whites.

"I've tried tons of other products in the past and none compare," James
said.

So what about the strict drug testing policies in professional sports, how did they get around that? Entrepreneur and business partner Jesse Itzler explained.

"We cross-referenced all the ingredients with league policy, etc.," Itzler
said. "We had a team of scientists and input from LeBron's trainer,
nutritionists, a lot of voices chiming in. We spent a year on it. We went
through a lot of different renditions before we got to a point where we said,
'Wow, we nailed it."

Other professional athletes including Amar'e Stoudemire and NFL running back Ray Rice are on board with the product. It is even spilling over into the entertainment world as Drake and Pitbull are also involved with the product.
