SPOTTED: LeBron with Soldiers and Adrienne Bosh's Baby Shower

LeBron can be a stand-up guy.

Our first photo is of Miami Heat's LeBron James as he and other teammates shook hands and took photos with some military pilots and crewmen.

The story is, three weeks ago while on a refueling stop on the way to play the Oklahoma City Thunder, a group of over 50 pilots and crewmen were refueling at the same location as the Heat and they wanted pictures with the team. As the men approached security they were not granted access to the team, but LeBron told security to let them through and told all his teammates to stand to their feet for the military personnel. Everyone who wanted a picture with the team got one.

Our second spotted story is of Adrienne Bosh, Chris Bosh's wife, and her baby shower guests. Adrienne's baby shower was held a couple days ago at the Coral Gables Country Club in Florida. The baby shower had a country-chic theme inspired by Adrienne's hometown in Indiana. The happy mother-to-be celebrated the impending arrival of her "little gentleman" with other basketball wives, family and friends.

Miami Heat Wear Hoodies In Show Of Support

Lebron James posted this picture via Twitter of the Miami Heat wearing hoodies in a show of support for Trayvon Martin a 17-year old Sanford, Florida high school student who was gunned down in late February.

Martin was wearing a hoodie with the hood up, had a pack of Skittles an ice tea with him as he returned from the store at time of the shooting and his death. Martin, an African-American male, was gunned down by 28-year old George Zimmerman, a Hispanic male and neighborhood watch captain.

Zimmerman claimed the shooting was in self-defense and has not been charged. Martin was found to be unarmed. The events surrounding Martin's death and the manner in which Sanford law enforcement have handled the case have drawn national attention.

LeBron James, the serious athlete, is doing advertisements in China. What's wrong with that you ask. Well, he's not doing anything basketball related or even helpful to the community, he's pushing Dunkin' Donuts.

Not just donuts, but pork donuts. I guess these are ok in China because I've never heard of such a thing.

James is certainly trying to become a global icon. He's an NBA star in the US, part owner of a professional soccer team in Europe, and now he's in a donut commercial in China.

Whatever it takes I guess.

LeBron's Mother Accepts Plea Deal

Gloria James, mother of LeBron James, was arrested in April of 2011 after valet Rock Feller Sorel claimed she hit him because he took too long to get her car at Miami Beach's Fontainebleau Hotel.

Ms. James has accepted a plea deal that includes dropping a battery charge stemming from an altercation with a hotel parking valet. 

On Monday James agreed to donate $1,000 to a Haitian earthquake relief fund and perform 20 hours of community service. If these hours are completed, a disorderly intoxication charge also will be dismissed.

Due to a pending lawsuit, Ms. James' attorney, Christopher Lyons, declined comment on the thousands of dollars that Sorel is seeking in damages.

It was said to be a joke and it is quite funny. The funniest part is the size of the bags.

D. Wade has a big purse and James has this tiny purse you could barely fit an iPhone in. I must say that James is matching very well though. Wade is dressed in true Miami fashion with the white pants.

LeBron Moves Skills Academy

Since its founding in 2007, the LeBron James Skills Academy has been hosted at the Univeristy of Akron. Tuesday, as Nike presented its 2012 calendar of non-scholastic basketball events, it was announced that the academy will be held in Las Vegas this year.

Bike Riding With LeBron

There are plenty of things that get you ready to compete in an athletic event of any sort. well Lebron chose to show his human side by biking to the Heat's game against the Bulls.

The biking must have paid off in full as LeBron played his usual A-game and then elevated clearly over the Bulls John Lucas III for what we thought would be a dunk that would be talked about for weeks until... well you know how Kendrick Perkins feels.


So why did LBJ bike to the game? He told Chris Tomasson of Fox Sports...

"The traffic," James said to the media after scoring a game-high 35 points in the 97-93 win over the Bulls. "You guys drove here? You guys are crazy."

So this had to be a first for the King right, well not so much but ...

"It's not common," he said. "A few (times). I felt good (Sunday) morning."

LeBron Returning to the Cavs? Fact or Fiction

A rumor started recently and Sam Amico from FoxSports.com says:


Now, there is talk that James is less-than-thrilled with certain aspects of the Heat organization. ... James can opt out of his contract at the end of the 2013-14 season, and speculation is he will strongly consider it if Riley remains in his current role. And the team James would be eyeballing most in free agency, say those close to the situation, would be the Cavs.

LeBron as a Cav again? Seriously? Probabaly not.

It is possible that Amico just wants some attention, but ESPN's Brian Windhorst knows LeBron best and says that he could finish his career there.


"Maybe one day LeBron and Cleveland can bury the hatchet and James can ride into the sunset as a Cav?"


Considering how much love Lebron gets from the Cleveland fans, some of the Cav's employees and the Cav's owner, that chance is highly unlikely. Unless of course they want to hit him with the "okey-doke" and make him think they are over it, only to torment him personally every night.

His big event was hosted by his lovely lady, Gabrielle Union, and his sister Arlesha.

Let Them Eat Cake, Just Not That One

When it comes to LeBron James, everything has to be spectacular. When celebrating a 27th birthday and engagement, a mediocre cake just won't suffice.

In order to gain some publicity and a "sponsorship", Alethea Hickman agreed to make a cake, pro bono. However, the cake was not pleasing to "the royal court" and a different cake was used.
