Chris Paul and Wife are Expecting a Girl

Only seven months married, Clippers guard Chris Paul and wife Jada are expecting their second child, a beautiful baby girl.

The happy couple at the event in LA.
Jada was seen sporting her baby bump on the red carpet Sunday night at the LA event held by JEEP & USA Basketball, where the couple and their 3-year old son, Chris Jr. had a date night.

While talking to Essence.com Jada said, "Chris, Lil' Chris and I are excited about the new addition to our family that is coming this summer. Lil' Chris is already kissing my stomach and talking to his new sister."

Chris Paul Returns To New Orleans

The timing of Chris Paul's return to New Orleans may not be the best for a city still feeling the aftershock of their beloved football team being hammered with historic suspensions and fines. Nonetheless Chris Paul will step on the New Orleans Arena floor tonight as the opponent for the first time in his career. How will he be treated by the fans and the city on his return?

Paul as you recall chose not to pick up the option on his contract for next season meaning the Hornets had to trade him. Even trying to trade him because a chore as the original deal was to send him to the Lakers but after that trade was voided he landed with the Clippers. The Hornets made three playoff appearances in Paul's six seasons and his first two seasons in New Orleans came while the Hornets were splitting time in Oklahoma City during everything that surrounded the city during post Katrina. Now the Hornets are at the bottom of the standings and are rebuilding in so many ways.

How is Paul feeling about the return, he told Art Thompson III of nola.com

"It's going to be odd to see if they still give me that little 'Wooo,'" said Paul of the exclamation popularized by pro wrestler Ric Flair. "It's going to be mixed emotions returning."

“It’s going to be a little bit different,’’ Paul said, “because I still watch them play all the time. I loved Monty Williams. I loved the entire coaching staff. I still root for them. I talk to Trevor Ariza all the time. I talked with Marco Belinelli ... and obviously, Jarrett Jack is one of my best friends.’’

This will be the second time this season the Hornets will welcome back a key player that began their career in the Big Easy. David West signed with the Indiana Pacers over the off-season after opting out of the final year of his contract. He was welcomed back wit open arms and even received a video tribute during a timeout.

Chris Paul may have mixed emotions but one thing is for sure, the Hornets fans and the city need to embrace him and show him the love he showed them during his time in there. Paul is connected to the city and you can believe that. Through his partnership with Chase bank, Paul donated $1 million to fund an after school program. He's played ball with the kids, rolled up sushi rolls helped with a lemonade stand and much more.

Hopefully with all Chris Paul did for the city and the Hornets while he was there the reception he will get will be warm.

Chris Paul with Model Bar Refaeli with Video

Sports Illustrated

Chris Paul ditched Blake Griffin in favor of Leonardo DiCaprio's ex, supermodel Bar Refaeli. It's hard to take this picture seriously with Paul has that ridiculous grin on his face.

Survey Says...Chris Paul

Ok from Ray Combs doing his little backwards dance at the end the show to Steve Harvey having a contestant answer being "a Joint" to "Something You Pass Around" 'Family Feud' is just one of those game shows that no matter how the times change it will always be watched or played by those on Facebook day in and day out.

Really your walking a mall and somebody ask you what did you use to cook Thanksgiving dinner and you say Turkey, more than likely it's the "number one answer", does 'Family Feud' enter into your mind, probably not until your sitting around on family night or bored in the dorm and it happens to be on and you are there to see who gets to 300 points first and guessing right along with them.

Well your human as is Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets. Dave Walker of The Times-Picayune has the scoop on just how human CP3 is and his family made the cut and will appear on 'Family Feud'

...Chris Paul and his family will play "Family Feud" next week to benefit Paul's CP3 Foundation. The episode is scheduled to air at 3 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 1) on WGNO.

According to a news release, the Paul team applied and auditioned for the show, hosted by Steve Harvey, just as any family can. (The show's contestant hotline: 323.762.8467.)

Family members participating in the game show will be Chris, brother C.J., dad Charles, mom Robin and aunt Rhonda.

The opposing team will be the O'Haras from Revere, Mass. They'll play for $100,000 and a car.

Wait you mean Paul just didn't call the show and say 'hey I wanna be on" and got it granted to him like that. Nope had to call like all of the other families and make the cut. Maybe during this lockout we'll continue to realize how human many of our stars are.

Of course you'll have to check your local listings but it should be fun to see CP3 and family try to win the game, after all it's a real life family game night right?

You just know Harvey is going to find some kind of humor with Paul at some point, let's just hope he size CP3 up about the lockout.

You Can't Lock Ballplayers Out

With the lockout still in full force some of the stars from around the NBA are acting on the "Love of the Game" clause famed by Michael Jordan in his early years as a Bull. Check this video featuring Carmello Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwayne Wade getting a run in no matter the league(s).

There may not be the glitz and glam of the NBA right now but good hoop is always somewhere to be found.

Chris Paul is tired of rumors about going to Charlotte

Twitter is great for celebrites to tell it like they want it. (Although it often gets them in trouble, they also use it to clarify rumors when they get out of hand.)
That's what North Carolina native and Hornets star Chris Paul had to do.

Chris Paul for Jumpman
Chris Paul is one of the faces for the Jordan Brand, Jumpman campaign. So reporters have continuely tried to make a connection with North Carolina, Michael Jordan, the Bobcats and CP3's contract ending in 2012 with the Hornets.

Chris Paul has continually kept it straight--From the AP:

"It would definitely be something to think about," the New Orleans guard said Tuesday when asked about the potential to sign with the Jordan-owned Charlotte Bobcats in 2012. "But right now it's all about trying to win a championship here with the Hornets."

This politcally correct answer led to more and more speculation...and more and more questions from reporters.

So finally, Chris Paul tweeted:

Video: Chris Paul's NBA Where Amazing Happens Commercial

The Chris Paul edition of the NBA Where Amazing Happens commercial doesn't send that chilling feeling down you spine like the Kevin Durant or Amar'e Stoudemire ones do but it's still pretty cool. Glad CP3 is getting included in the love that is amazing!

Chris Paul To Visit With TNT Crew

If you look at the schedule closely sometimes you'll see Hawks games scheduled on a Friday night with a worthy opponent. That means unless you play on Thursday night and your the Hawks next opponent you may land a segment on TNT Thursday. The Hornets are in Atlanta Friday so that mean's the leagues current steals leader at 2.74 per game, Chris Paul, will be in studio with the TNT crew.

Will CP3 comes back at Chuck in a good lighthearted way or will Chuck kinda push him. Kenny will not be in but McHale may come with something. This is a night Greg Anthony should be in the house. It'll be fun to see anyway.

Chris Paul and Jada Crawley Announce Engagement

About time we got some good couple news from the NBA. Hornets PG Chris Paul proposed to longtime girlfriend and mother of his son Jada Crawley at the Hornet's Holiday Party they made the announcement well with their hands.

How sweet that they decided to use their hands to announce their engagement. It came about by the group 'Dear New Orleans" attending the party. The group is known for getting people to write "Love Letters" to the city of New Orleans on their hands.

Even off the court Paul is dishing out crafty assists, this one, worth well more than than hoop and the harm.

Good in the Hood: Chris Paul Donates $1 Mill To Kids

That's what I'm talking about!
CP3 giving back
Chris Paul teamed up with Chase Bank to donate $1 million to create an afterschool program for New Orleans youth.  The program, called the CP3 Afterschool Zone, will work with local schools, libraries, and other facilities to create after school programs that tap into each child's interests.
