D Will & Dwight Have Dinner

During New Jersey's recent trip to Orlando, All-Stars Deron Williams and Dwight Howard had dinner together. Of course with all the trade speculation of Dwight ending up in New Jersey, this obviously started some rumors.

What do you guys think - D Will trying to convince Dwight to come to New Jersey or just two friends having dinner?

Mo Williams the New Chauncey Billups?

Who would have thought that Mo Williams would be an afterthought after the Los Angeles Clippers went on a shopping spree this past offseason. We won't even get into who they grabbed since the entire NBA fan base was all over it.

In case you forgot...Mo Williams was snagged from the Cleveland Cavaliers for Baron Davis and a few other players and picks, trying to rebuild for 2012 and beyond. While he was a big deal when he closed out the season with the Clippers, he has faded away a bit from the spotlight now that Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and co. have stolen the show. Mo is still a starter...but how unknown is he now? Well...watch this video during the starting lineups when the Clippers took on Chicago Friday:

Could it be that Mo is just as good as Chauncey? He has been out since Thursday night and Mo has been playing in place of him. Its OK Mo...you've always got a place in our hearts no matter what.

Current Player Former Player Beef...

So a little issue with what the "analyst" and the current player never hurt anyone. Well current has ring and"analyst" doesn't. You can split hairs on the topic all day. What Chris Webber did to define his spot in basketball history is solid, Perk's...well is still a work in progress. Perk has a ring and maybe without and injury would have two...now is that vital or not.

Webb said Perk wasn't a fit for OKC, and we were with him during the emotional days of the trade. Now, it's a different story. Perk can be that "vet" that can lead the Thuder to a tile, maybe not this year but before his extension is done.

Perk went to Twitter with his comments to and for CWebb and you can't blame him but it's not like Webb doesn't have a ring because he's Doug West, hardly. He lost to Robert Horry and the Lakers who also had Shaq and Kobe, can't discount that. Talent respect talent so take that for what it's worth.

Oh the KP5 Tweet...

At the end of the day CWebb has more respect than a lot of other pine-riding, role-playing analyst. Not to discredit them but CWebbs contribution to the game of basketball CANNOT be overlooked. Perk, YES you have you right and you should wear and rock it with the meaning it has, therefore just keeping doing what you do and you'll go down as a valuable contribution to the game of basketball as well, just lay easy on the "send" button, yet we feel ya!

Head Coach Dennis Rodman...

Yes that's correct Dennis Rodman will be the head coach of a basketball team, a women's team, a topless women's team that is. Leave it to Dennis to keep the odd stuff coming. We can feel the excitement building now.

Holding true to being a competitior Rodman would not be outdone by former NBAer Spud Webb. Webb will be running the topless women's team for Rick’s Cabaret which is a rival strip club to Headquarters Gentlemen’s Club.

Rodman told the Page Six...

“I don’t know too many men that don’t like a good-looking woman running up and down around the court,”

“You don’t have to have too much experience, just know how to throw the ball into the hole.”

Shorts, skimpy skirts and sneakers will be worn during games and then Rodman said...

“They’ll come out in a T-shirt or a tank top, but when the game starts, they’ll go topless,”

This will be very interesting to see you must admit.

While one gets engaged...

...the other gets ready for divorce. First off, congratulations on Michael Jordan's engagement to Yvette Prieto. It is always nice to see former NBA greats, especially Air Jordan, display positive headlines.
Not so much Kobe Bryant though.
Yes it is old news that Kobe and Vanessa Bryant are planning to cut ties rather soon. For our Friday funnies, FunnyorDie.com makes light of the situation while Kobe Bryant held a press conference this week talking about the divorce and how much this is affecting him. One person though, might have a say on trying to stop this fiasco. Enjoy!

Miami Heat Intro Video

Chris Bosh

There are no words for this.  I just...I can't...oh dear God.

Dwayne Wade looks like the captain on a Carnival Cruise. Lebron James is trying to be tough in a mint green sweater.  No one has or ever will look tough in mint green.  And then there's Chris Bosh who looks like that uncle everyone has that doesn't know how to buy clothes that fit.

Oh and then there's a bunch of other random guys in flashy clothes starring intensely at the camera.

End scene.

King James Celebrates 27 Years

LeBron James looking stylish at 27

2012 is almost here but not before LeBron James turns 27. The young NBA star has to go big for his birthday celebration. I'm sure another win tonight would be icing on the cake.

Ladies of the Heat Prepare for the Game

Gabrielle, Adrienne and Savannah...Need we say more?

While the men of the Miami Heat were warming up for their game against the Boston Celtics last night, the ladies of a few players were looking fabulous and posting pictures for the world to see.

Showing off their expensive name brand gear, but would you expect anything less from the ladies claiming Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh?

Lebron and Wade mock Cam Newton with his signature Superman celebration

Wade and James do the Superman for Cam Newton.

Dwayne Wade may have been mocking Cam Newton by doing his signature Superman move after his game-winning basket against the Bobcats, but Newton should be flattered.  Having an NBA superstar acknowledge you and mimic your touchdown pose, is pretty fantastic., especially as a rookie.

Not sure why Lebron felt the need to jump on the bandwagon and play along in the background though.  Get your own shtick, Lebron.

Hawks President Chats at the GA Aquarium

Atlanta Hawks President, Bob Williams was recently at the Georgia Aquarium doing an interview with Emmy Award winning television journalists, Shaunya Chavis-Rucker and Kimberley Kennedy for their television show, The Chat Room.
Bob Williams makes the guest list for The Chat Room

During his interview, Williams discussed his thoughts on the new NBA season and how the lockout impacted his players. He also mentioned several of the players and how they have improved and will play a crucial part on the team this season.

Of course Williams couldn't come to the interview alone. Williams brought two surprise guests with him, Atlanta Cheerleaders Crystal and Juliana.

To see the full interview you'll have to wait until this particular show airs in January.

Heat: All Of The Lights...For 2011-2012.

With all the attention elsewhere during the frantic post lockout off-season, the Miami Heat have not received as much talk as they did say 12 months ago. That may do them some favors but they still want us to know they are around. So to ensure that they released this video. Enjoy!

Well we love the song but now we really like it because the Heat did it right!
