Funny Photo: HEAT game giveaway

Our friends over at NBAMusings got these shots from the Heat game on TNT a couple weeks ago.
The "A" team
The "B" team.
The funny part of this is: what if you got the poster for the "B" team?
What would you do with that thing?

The HEAT grant a wish

The HEAT aren't just bullies all the time...(Are they bullies?). Anyway, check out this story...

Heat's Three

From the Associated Press:
Christian had plans [to] celebrate his birthday night of Oct. 22 at an NBA preseason game in his hometown of Tampa, Fla., watching his favorite player -- LeBron James(notes) -- and the Heat play against the Orlando Magic. He told his parents he didn't want a party, just tickets, and they obliged with ones near midcourt.
The seats would have been perfect. The game was never played. That was the contest canceled by slippery court conditions, and the boy went home in tears. [...]
Moved by a letter his mother wrote about what her son felt like the night of the canceled game, team officials arranged for tickets for the Liebert family to see Saturday's game in Miami against the Atlanta Hawks, along with a hotel stay and some other souvenirs. The family sat courtside for a portion of the pregame, in the very seats the Heat players would occupy during the game. Several players and assistant coaches stopped to say hello, and Christian posed for some photos.
Heat have holiday spirit

Aren't they nice?!

News: No Anti-LeBron Ish at the Cavs Game

Just so you know...they will be having none of this:

anti-LeBron

ESPN reports:
The Cleveland Cavaliers have banned fans from wearing anti-LeBron apparel to the game at Quicken Loans Arena versus the Heat on December 2nd, and the team has added dozens of police officers to help provide a secure environment.

Many officers will be positioned next to Miami's bench and by the tunnel where the players enter and exit the court.

The anger in Cleveland is intense since LeBron James announced on live television that he was leaving the Cavs to sign a free-agent contract with the Heat.

The Cavs are concerned about the image that the city and team might convey to a national audience during the game, as well as being genuinely concerned about safety issues.

"Honestly, I'm a little bit afraid," one member of the Cavs organization told ESPN. "Some people don't care. Their mentality is 'I've got to get this off my chest.' There's so much negative energy around this game. People aren't excited about the game itself. They're just like, 'I can't wait to do something.'"

Inappropriate signs will also be confiscated by team staff members.

Woah there Nelly!

Mark Cuban: On the HEAT's slow start

According to Deadspin, Mark Cuban joined ESPN Radio Dallas with Ben and Skin to discuss his team's chemistry, why we've seen the Mavs dunk more this season, Colin Cowherd's argument against European players, Miami's tough start to the season and whether he believes Pacquiao/Mayweather will ever happen.

Mark Cuban
But we only care about what he said about the HEAT.

On the slow start for the Miami Heat:
"Hallelujah, boys, is that great or what? … How cool is that? Now, they could still turn it around and win out for all that matters, but you're starting to see some of the problems. Any team with a strong, big guy that can score, they're getting abused by. Paul Millsap goes out and pulls a Tracy McGrady. What, Tracy McGrady scored 13 and 30 and Paul Millsap scores 11 in 29 seconds or something like that? They just don't have size to battle. They have the fewest points in the paint of any team and that's tough. … My buddy Dan Gilbert is smiling all the way, too. Again, it's early in the season and you never quite know how it's going to play out, but how glorious."
