O.J. Mayo is just having a rough stretch, first he was demoted to the bench, then there was news of his father facing legal trouble. Now he gets busted up and left with a swollen face on the team flight back from a drubbing of the Lakers by teammate and former Celtic Tony Allen.The fight stemmed from a gambling debt from a card game. Now if you know anything about the NBA, or professional sports, you know these guys bet on just about any and everything. In shootarounds a game of HORSE, a half-court shootout or trick shot contest can get down right expensive. It's not gambling when your betting with someone you KNOW has the funds to pay in the event they lose so when they lose and don't pay oh man it's serious. Just ask Agent Zero.

"There was a brief altercation between Tony Allen and O.J. Mayo. The club considers the matter closed and will not comment further."
At least this time Allen decided to use the birth given weapons. Allen's blows landed Mayo in the boxscore for their game tonight versus OKC as "NWT- bronchitis". Damn a swollen face gives you bronchitis, ha! Allen on the other hand went for 19 points as the Grizz topped the Thunder 110-105.
